Our Alumni Association is active and growing and welcomes contact from old pupils from any decade since the school started in 1945.
We hold an Alumni event each summer term. Usually with a BBQ and always with lots of familiar faces and fun. Why not get a group of your friends together and come along?
You will have a great time! See how the place has changed and what is the same - only smaller!
So many joined us or 70th anniversary - it was a delight! Old boys and girls of all ages turned out to enjoy music and singing, take tours around the school and chat to one another about their happy memories of Berkhampstead.
The PTA ball was super and saw the impressive Pittville Pump Room packed with current and former parents dancing and chatting and catching up on the news.
Music and singing in the Berky tradition of ‘Have a Go’ went with a swing at our Platinum Alumni evening. The Jazz jamming session with James Agg on bass and John Stillman on keyboard was great - several contributors played…some had planned to and others were persuaded on the night.
It was super to see such accomplished musicians return to the stage where they first performed. Mrs Mackinnon, former Music teacher, led the singing of old favourites including ‘The Rhythm of Life’ and some Djembe drumming….happy memories!
Getting in Touch
We’d really like to hear from you! Join the growing number of former pupils and staff who are kept informed about School developments. Hear news about old friends from Prep School, have chance to share stories and look at pictures from those happy days! See how the hair styles have changed and muse about people’s names and what might have become of them!
Mrs Jo Simons - who may very well have taught you Science, runs our fledgling alumni association. We would love to know where you are, what you are doing now and what you loved about Berky.
