The Gallery
Experiential learning is the key to real understanding. Learning by getting wet or muddy, dressing up and actually taking part in things, is learning for life and what memories are made of.

We run a huge number of educational trips to stately homes, the theatre, museums outdoor and environmental centres and other places of interest. Year 4's trip to Sulgrave Manor to find out about Tudor times is a recent example.

Residential trips are a part of school life and we plan to expand provision here. The Rockley sailing and adventurous activities
trip for Year 6 pupils is a special part of the summer term.
Our family canoe trip (pictured above) was a particular favourite - really popular and lots of fun was had in the sun. Current parents

The Year two children examined Chinese artefacts at the museum in Cheltenham, then had fun sampling the food at a Chinese restaurant during a day out to conclude their China topic.
Year 3 dressed up in the Corinium museum in Cirencester, on a recent visit. They thoroughly enjoyed imagining to be Roman soldiers!
The Steam Museum proved very popular when pupils were evacuated there - just for the day, last term.
Staff and children were aquiver with excitement when the
Fire Engine came to school. Linking in with work on the Great Fire of London they heard about how the Fire Service started and how to stay safe. At great volume they really heard the sirens and had fun exploring the engine and trying on the fire fighting kit. A super day was had by all.
