Berky celebrates Diwali

Some of our youngest children have been really creative this week, making Diwali ‘candles’ to introduce their learning about the Hindu Festival of lights. They have been busy sticking, folding card and decorating their colourful candles with glitter to create a really lovely display in Kindergarten. Other activities planned to feed their curious minds about this vibrant festival include henna-inspired patterns drawn onto cut-out hands, and Rangoli patterns, drawn with chalk, to decorate the ground outside the Kindergarten building. Brilliant fun for our little ones!
