      Food For Thought

Every child at Berkhampstead, from the very youngest in our lovely Day Nursery, up to our eldest pupils in Year 6, celebrated Thanksgiving today with a traditional turkey roast lunch. The dining rooms were adorned with flags and bunting in American Stars and Stripes, a merry backdrop for a delicious home-cooked lunch of roast turkey, roast potatoes, carrot and swede mash, served with cranberry sauce. Pudding was a Berky kitchen triumph: toffee swirl cheesecake with pumpkin puree. Everyone enjoyed the celebration.
