A day in the Life of an Anaesthetist

A day in the Life of an Anaesthetist

Earlier this week, one of our Reception Daddy’s came to visit to talk about being an Anaesthetist. He talked about preparing for an operation, and answered a plethora of questions from our curious young children. The children enjoyed getting hands-on experience by dressing up as patients in gowns and masks, while Dr Breach pretended to give them anaesthetic in the back of their hands. They were then challenged to administer CPR on ‘Annie’ doll under the expert supervision of our kind doctor. Next week, the children are excited about a fireman visit!
