Music is our Forte!

We are delighted that three of our top musicians have achieved astonishing results in auditions for national music organisations this year. All three pupils are in Year 5 and have been playing and singing since they were very young, participating in choirs and ensembles at school whilst developing great skills on their instruments individually. One of them is joining the The National Children’s Choir, while another talented pupil will be playing her oboe in The National Children’s Orchestra, and her viola in the National Schools Symphony Orchestra. Shown is our phenomenal bassoonist who has been awarded a place in the National Children’s Orchestra, having started to learn the instrument only two years ago. He also has a place to further his musical education at The Royal Academy of Music (Primary Department) from September which takes place every Saturday during term time. Well done!
