Supporting your child's learning

There is lots that you can do to help your child to really understand the topics covered in class and to help to cultivate a love of learning.  

Asking about the day and taking an active interest will make a difference to a child's understanding.  Explaining a topic and recalling what has been done in class helps to embed what has been learnt and it can be a real pleasure to share knowledge, a parent can add to what the child knows and can learn a bit more from them!

Books and the internet, trips and visits, TV programmes and podcasts will all be useful in expanding what your child knows.  Do share resources as you come across them and as we build the pages here, we will include them.
