Where is Arabia?

The story of Aladdin provided inspiration for a range of activities in Reception. The children discussed good and bad characters and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in ‘hot seating’. A child took on the role of one of the characters from Aladdin and was questioned by the rest of the class. The challenge of answering in character was embraced. Some excellent questions were posed and we found out a great deal. And where is Arabia anyway? iPads were brought out and Google Junior consulted, so the children’s research skills were sharpened too!
