Wildlife Park Trip a Roaring Success!

Wildlife Park Trip a Roaring Success!

Earlier this week, an excited Year 1 ventured to the West Midland Safari park in search of rainforest creatures. Planned to support their study of the Rainforest, the children were delighted by an inquisitive giraffe who popped his head through the coach window, some very sleepy white tigers and lions, a playful young elephant and a camel who was intent on stopping the traffic!

After lunch, the intrepid year group went on an exciting walk around the park. Everyone was captivated by the playful penguins, and some of the children had lorikeets landing on their heads! After a walk through the dinosaur land, the rainforest creature workshop gave everyone a chance to handle creatures including millipedes and corn snakes, though most of the adults chose not to participate! A great day was had by all!
