Communication

Communication is vital and we have a range of methods for keeping everyone in touch with what's going on. Current parents can log into the Parent Portal to access everything they've been sent, and our social media channels give a good insight into what's going on across the School.

Face to Face

The beginning and end of the day are a chance for informal chats - these are welcomed. Please approach staff for a ‘quick word’ when you need to. Should an extended discussion be necessary, then appointments may be made.

Introductory Evenings are held in the first few weeks of the new academic year for Kindergarten to Year 3. These give an insight into what we do and how we do it! Often interactive and always involving discussion, they give plenty of chance for parents to get a real sense of what the next year will hold for their child.

Parents’ Evenings are held in the Autumn and Spring terms. Pre-Prep parents book an appointment time with the class teacher. It is a good opportunity to see some of the splendid work that the children have produced so it is worth coming earlier than the allotted time to take a good look round at the wonderful displays (see the Tweedle twins left) and to have the chance to go through your child’s books.

Prep Parents’ Evenings allow time to speak to the subject specialists and form teacher as they become free.

Staff are always willing to discuss your child’s progress between meetings if you should have any concerns or positive feedback.
