Holiday Club
Berkhampstead Holiday Club is the ideal place for children aged 3 - 8 years to have lots of fun, in a familiar environment, during the school holidays.
What We Do
Experienced and caring staff run the activities and their aim is to make each child’s day as enjoyable as possible. Our Holiday Club uses the school’s excellent facilities to provide quiet indoor pursuits such as art, crafts and cookery, while the all-weather MUGA and Pre-Prep lawn are ideal for more active fun. Our grounds are spacious and secure and are very well used by the children.
Activities
Holiday Club activities include: Football, Hockey, Holiday Club games (e.g. What’s the Time Mr Wolf?, Shark Attack, Colour game, Hide and Seek), Musical Statues and Musical Bumps, Movement breaks, Yoga, Treasure hunts, Parachute games and time in our Wildlife Garden. We also offer a selection of Arts & Crafts, Cookery, Films and time for imaginative play.
During the longer holiday periods, particularly during the summer, we run themed weeks. This may include themes such as: Beach Week, Science Week, Olympics Week, Pirate Week, Zoo Week, Royals Week and Space Week.
Meals and Snacks
Morning break - fresh fruit, biscuits and milk or water. Lunch - a nutritious meal cooked from scratch in the School kitchen. Afternoon tea - sandwiches, cake, fresh fruit, squash or water.
Children aged 3 to 8 years may attend our Holiday Club which runs from 8.15am to 5.15pm during the Berkhampstead School holidays.
Holiday Club places must be pre-booked to allow staffing and catering to be arranged.
We will need to know the details of each child ie: allergies and diet.
A place cannot be guaranteed on the day unless it has been pre-booked and confirmation of payment can be shown.
DETAILS
Procedure - once you have received an email confirming your chosen dates and confirmation of payment, we will email you confirmation of your child’s place(s). Please present your confirmation upon drop off.
IMPORTANT - A full week’s notice (7 days) is required, in writing, to holidayclub@berkhampsteadschool.co.uk for cancellation with a refund. No refunds shall be given for absence through illness or no show. Session dates may be changed by agreement and subject to availability.
Charges - £47.50 per child per day with a 5% discount for a full week (five consecutive days). This includes snacks, lunch and tea.
Late pick up charge for children collected after 5.15pm - £15.00

Details
Eligibility
Your son/daughter must have attended Kindergarten for at least one term to be eligible for our Holiday Club. We do accept pupils external to the School depending on pupil ages (usually between 3 and 8 years old). Please do contact a member of the Holiday Club team if you require further information.
Timings
Holiday Club runs from 8.15am - 5.15pm, Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
Children must be signed in at Berkhampstead School, Pittville Circus Road. They must be collected by an authorised adult, as identified on their registration form. Holiday club staff must be notified of any changes in advance of pick up.
Cancellation is to be made in writing or by email. It is possible to change sessions by agreement, subject to availability.
